Kelly Payne

Kelly has over 15 years of experience delivering strategic and creative business solutions across multiple sectors, including digital media, healthcare and semiconductors. With a user experience and digital design background, she has a track record of utilising user testing and innovative research methods to develop unique and creative solutions for complex business problems, as well as, delivering informed and actionable business strategies.

As the Experience and Design Strategist for Purple Compass, she brings her UX experience, design sensibilities, keen observation skills and creative research methods to make sense of complex situations, and to create new offerings for clients and internal stakeholders. She was part of the collaborative team to support the William Osler Health System project.

Kelly is the Director of User Experience and Design at Torstar, running the digital product design team for thestar.ca and other digital media properties. Kelly has a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation at Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCADU), and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Mount Allison University.
